IAGR Awards
BEST PAPER AWARD
The International Association for Gondwana Research (IAGR) has instituted a prestigious award for the best paper published every year in Gondwana Research.
An Award Committee comprising Associate Editors of Gondwana Research and Publisher from Elsevier judge the papers published during the previous year and nominate the winning paper.
The Awardee(s) of the winning paper are invited to attend the GR Best Paper Award ceremony held every year jointly with the IAGR Annual Convention. The Award consists of a gold-plated medal and citation(s) from IAGR, and Award Certificate(s) and one year free online subscription for GR from Elsevier.
Congratulations to the winners of 2012 GR Best Paper Award
K. Sain and H.K. Gupta received the 2012 GR Best Paper award. Their paper, “Gas hydrates in India: Potential and development” published in Gondwana Research, volume 22, issue 2, September 2012, pages 645-657 bagged the award.
The award ceremony was held in KIGAM, South Korea on October 2, 2013 attended by delegates from various countries, officials of IAGR, and board members of GR. The award carried medal and citation from IAGR, and certificate from Elsevier.
